This website aims to show you how to deal with anxiety and how to help those suffering from anxiety. We are not doctors but we’ve been through the experience of having a child diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and come through the other side. Having gone from a very dark place, where we could find little or no help we’ve got some tips, thoughts and experiences we’d like to share. With the benefit of time we can even see that our daughter being diagnosed with a General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) was almost a blessing in disguise. Hard to believe but it’s true. Having had professional treatment including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) we have a daughter better able to deal with what life throws at us than many kids who haven’t had the same experience. When you learn how to overcome anxiety you gain life skills you’ll use every day of your happy fulfilled life.
